Kid Cudi has announced a new album, Entergalatic, which will soundtrack a new “adult-focused animated music series” coming to Netflix, The Hollywood Reporter (THR) revealed on Monday. Both the album and the show are titled Entergalactic, and Cudi will co-write, direct, and executive produce the series along with Kenya Barris, creator of ABC’s black-ish.
Entergalatic is Cudi’s first solo album since 2016’s Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’. (It’s also the name of a song on his 2009 album Man on the Moon: The End of Day.) In a tweet today, Cudi wrote: “The cast is coming together. I know a year from now seems like forever but itll be here before u know it!”
Entergalactic will be something you've never experienced. I promise it'll be a fun ride. Lot of good friends involved. Great songs too! The cast is coming together. I know a year from now seems like forever but itll be here before u know it!

Although the album doesn’t have a release date, the animated series from Netflix will showcase music from Cudi’s new album. The series will follow “a young man on his journey to discover love,” according to THR.
