“The Starboy” Wizkid has finally released a new single titled “Ghetto Love”. The dancehall-inspired, low-tempo jam was produced by Killertunes and Kel P, featuring catchy lyrics laid smoothly over the track. Overall, we definitely think this is another banger from the Nigerian artist.
In the video, the opening scenes shows Wizkid walking with his team until he stops by a chair where a cassette tape has been left on top of it. The following scene is that of a little boy (presumably the younger version of Wizkid) sitting in a boat and placing the same cassette tape into a music player. The scenes switch between Wizkid singing in the recording studio and a younger him doing the same in his bedroom.
Thus far, this has been a year of features for Wizkid jumping onto a number of massive tracks including “Brown Skin Girl” from Beyoncé’s “The Lion King: The Gift” album. The artist is also set to drop a highly anticipated new album shortly titled “Made In Lagos,” which we cannot wait to get our hands on.
